In this episode I am starting to assembling The brain tissue of the Marble Machine X, the programming plates for the programming wheel!

The design choices are so many that I had a hard time knowing where to begin unpacking them for you so in this episode I mostly put the pieces together. I will dissect further in upcoming videos.

Thanks to ELEKTRONIKA 60 for sending the music to me!

Elektronika 60 just released a nice album on Soundcloud, they say they got inspiration from Wintergatan and I loved the feeling of the music. Good luck in the future!

Take care everyone! // Martin

Everyone is going crazy, Martin. We, as a collective of Swedish Engineering magic enthusiasts, have been worried about you. It would be the least you could do to at least post a quick update video or community post about a delay. If the situation somehow has turned for the worst, and you are now dead, I will say that many people on earth will miss your amazing mind and talent. We worry about you, Martin, I hope you're okay...

1 week without wintergatan wednesday - Eh, he's probably just taking a breather or something.

2 weeks without wintergatan wednesday - OH MY GOD, MARTIN'S DEAD!

20,000 holes that's amazing... You could think of the programming wheel like one of those old fashioned massive hard drives cause 20,000 holes is 2.5KB of data

Two weeks with no videos. I have nearly forgotten what the sound a marble dropping makes.

Hello Martin, please excuse my language when I say this is fucking awesome :) I've been watching from the beginning and looking back it's been a stellar journey watching this thing come together with you. Looking back there simply is no other way to describe it and i hope to keep watching you and vicariously living out these emotions through you. Overall, I'd say you capture the spirit of humanity itself; curious, experimenting, and resilient. Good work.

As a CNC Programmer and operator I have to ask why you don't connect your dust collector to the vacuum connection on your CNC head?  I see a dust collector in the background, you can run a rigid pipe up the wall and across the ceiling to the center of your CNC Table then hang a flex pipe with enough length to reach the total work surface of your table, lots less mess to clean up that way.

Day 14 without a new wintergatan video. I am starting to cramp. Watching old videos won't keep me alive for much longer. Need. New. Video.

I kinda want that Marble Machine X CNC baseboard when everything's cut... It's a work of art all on its own. Not that I have the cash, but that thing should be framed, I'm sure there'll be somebody to buy it.
